Information & terms
Terms of use
The conditions for reading this portfolio and starting a conversation about a writing project.

01Operator and scope
This website presents the copywriting and editorial content services of Mona Debora Rumengan, an independent professional. The public contact address is Jalan Hajjah R. Rasuna Said Tower 2, Jakarta, 12960, Indonesia, and the email destination is [email protected]. These terms describe use of the portfolio, its writing samples and its enquiry interface. They do not replace the terms of a separately agreed writing assignment. References to the website concern these public pages, while references to a project concern work expressly agreed between the relevant parties.
02Reading and acceptable use
You may browse the portfolio, follow its internal links and use the enquiry form for a genuine discussion about writing or an associated question. Use the website in a way that respects other people’s privacy, intellectual property and lawful access. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to hosting systems, impersonate someone in correspondence or submit material you have no right to disclose. Automated requests that interfere with ordinary operation are not appropriate. Nothing in these terms prevents uses of content that applicable law permits independently of permission from the author.
03Understanding the samples
The writing portfolio contains clearly identified independent concept samples. The café and planning-app examples are fictional briefs, and the editorial guide is a demonstration of explanatory writing. They show possible language, structure and editorial choices. They are not client commissions, endorsements, testimonials or evidence of measured business results. A sample may intentionally adopt a fictional brand voice to illustrate an approach. The descriptions accompanying it explain that context. Do not treat product capabilities, menu references or sender names appearing inside sample copy as statements about a real business or available product.
04Service information and availability
The services page describes types of writing that may be discussed, such as website copy, editorial articles and email sequences. It helps define an enquiry; it does not guarantee that every assignment can be accepted. Requirements, source material, schedule and suitability need to be considered for the particular project. This website publishes no fixed prices, turnaround promises or reservation system. A visitor should not rely on a sample’s length as a standard deliverable or interpret the presence of a contact link as confirmation of immediate availability for work.
05An enquiry is not a booking
The request form prepares a draft in your email application using the information you enter. You must review and send that message yourself if you want to make an enquiry. Opening a draft does not establish delivery, acceptance or an agreement, and the website does not take payments. A project begins only when the parties have expressly agreed the relevant scope and conditions. A response asking for clarification, an initial conversation or the exchange of background material does not by itself define a complete commission or grant rights to final work.
06Agreeing the writing assignment
A project discussion should identify the intended audience, formats, deliverables, source material, review process and the person authorised to approve content. It should also address deadlines, fees, payment arrangements, permitted use, confidentiality and any cancellation terms relevant to that assignment. None of those commercial details are fixed by the generic enquiry form. Changes in direction or additional formats may require a revised agreement. If an instruction is ambiguous, clarification is preferable to assuming an unlimited revision allowance, an unconfirmed launch date or a particular transfer of intellectual property.
07Your material and editorial responsibility
If you provide a brief, existing copy, quotations, images or research, ensure you are entitled to share that material for the intended purpose. Identify facts that need verification and claims that require specialist approval. The parties should agree who supplies and approves factual, regulatory, legal or technical information. Writing and editing do not automatically include independent specialist verification. You remain responsible for evaluating whether approved copy is suitable for the context in which you publish it. Do not ask for fabricated endorsements, invented research findings or misleading claims presented as established facts.
08Ownership and permitted reuse
The original writing and visual presentation of this portfolio are provided for evaluation of the services. Reading a sample does not grant a general commercial licence to reproduce it as your own finished campaign or to sell it. If you want to reuse material beyond what the law permits, request permission and describe the intended use. Rights in commissioned work should be addressed in the relevant project agreement. Third-party fonts and other licensed assets retain their respective licence terms. Fictional names used in examples do not establish ownership of similar names used elsewhere.
09External applications and links
Email links rely on a browser and email application configured by the visitor. Whether a draft opens, how it is stored and whether a sent message is delivered depend partly on those separate services. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their operation. If a page points to an external resource, that resource is controlled by its own operator and may change. The existence of a link should not be treated as a promise about its future accuracy or availability. Use appropriate care when deciding what information to provide through an external service.
10Limitations and mandatory rights
The portfolio is intended to provide a useful view of the writing offered, but it is not a guarantee of a particular commercial outcome. Language choices alone cannot ensure sales, engagement, approval by a third party or a particular response from an audience. Pages can contain mistakes or become temporarily unavailable. Please identify an issue if you encounter one so that it can be considered. These terms do not exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, and they do not create a blanket waiver of responsibility for every possible loss or circumstance.
11Updates, disagreements and contact
The version date appears on this page. Website terms may be revised to reflect changes to the portfolio or enquiry process; a separately agreed project remains subject to its own applicable terms and lawful changes. If a concern arises, explain the page or correspondence involved and the outcome you are seeking through the contact channel. Keep a copy of any project agreement and relevant correspondence. These public terms do not invent a dispute forum, mandatory arbitration procedure or exclusive governing-law clause. Applicable mandatory law continues to govern where it must apply.
