Cancellations & refunds
How enquiries, project cancellations and payment questions are distinguished.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
01No payment at the enquiry stage
Browsing the portfolio, completing the request form and preparing an email draft do not create a charge. There is no website checkout, stored payment method or paid account. A draft is a starting point for a possible conversation about writing. Because that action does not take a payment, it does not create a website transaction to refund. This statement concerns the public enquiry process and does not determine the treatment of a separately agreed project.
02A separate project has separate terms
If writing work is agreed, its scope, fee, payment arrangements and cancellation conditions should be recorded in the relevant agreement. Those details may depend on the deliverables, preparation involved and stage of work. This page does not impose an unconfirmed deposit, cancellation percentage or universal refund window. Review the actual agreement before accepting a project and ask for clarification if it does not explain what happens when plans change.
03Changing your mind before agreement
If you have only prepared an unsent draft, you can discard or edit it in your own email application. If you have sent an enquiry but no project has been agreed, communicate that the enquiry is withdrawn or that the proposed scope has changed. Do not assume that silence cancels a separate agreement already made. An enquiry is not a booking, and the public form does not reserve a date or automatically start work.
04Cancellation after work is agreed
When a project has been accepted, raise a cancellation or postponement request as soon as you know it is needed. Identify the work concerned and whether you are asking to stop, reduce or reschedule it. The status of preparation, delivered drafts, approved work and any payment already made can be relevant to the discussion. Any resulting payment adjustment depends on the project agreement and applicable rights, rather than a result generated by this website.
05How to raise a payment concern
Address a question to [email protected] with your name, the project reference or descriptive title, the relevant correspondence and the reason for the request. If a payment was made, state the date and amount using ordinary transaction information. Do not include full card details, passwords or banking credentials. Explain the outcome you are seeking so the issue can be assessed. The website does not provide an automated refund decision or an online payment reversal tool.
06Review, timing and protected rights
No fixed refund processing period or guaranteed outcome is stated here. A payment issue may require clarification of the agreement, work completed or payment record. Any confirmed adjustment should identify the amount, method and expected timing in the relevant correspondence. Nothing on this page removes a right or remedy that applicable law makes mandatory. Read this policy alongside the terms of use and any project agreement, and retain those records if a question later arises.
